Online Sodium Analyser with 3S
Sodium is measured by the separate 3S-NA analyser, not by the 3S-CL colorimetric platform. The 3S-NA uses potentiometric ion-selective electrode measurement and conditions the sample to reduce pH and ammonium interference before the sodium result is determined.
Applications include high-purity and process water, reverse-osmosis and demineralisation systems, condensate, boiler-feed water and steam-cycle monitoring. Continuous online sodium measurement with the 3S-NA
The conditioned sample flows to a glass sodium electrode, allowing operators to review continuous sodium results and analyser status through the integrated touchscreen.

Potentiometric sodium measurement
The glass sodium electrode develops a potential related to sodium concentration after reagent vapour raises the sample to pH 11 to reduce pH and ammonium interference.
